Accordhub - Cancellation and Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy (“Policy”) outlines the rules governing cancellations, refunds, rescheduling, and the impact of split payments for all bookings made through Accordhub. This Policy forms an integral part of Accordhub’s Terms of Use and Payment Policy.
General Rules
All cancellations, rescheduling requests, and refund outcomes are governed strictly by the timelines and charges defined under this Policy. Users are responsible for reviewing this Policy before confirming a booking.
Cancellation Charges
2.1 Cancellation Before 72 Hours
If a confirmed booking is cancelled more than 72 hours before the scheduled hearing start time:
- A cancellation fee of 50 percent of the room booking amount will be charged.
- The remaining 50 percent will be refunded within 7 days.
2.2 Cancellation Within 72 Hours
If a confirmed booking is cancelled within 72 hours of the scheduled hearing start time:
- 100 percent of the room booking amount will be charged.
- No refund will be issued.
2.3 No-Show
If the parties fail to appear for the scheduled hearing without submitting a cancellation:
- 100 percent of the booking amount will be forfeited.
Cancellation of Provisional Split-Payment Bookings
If a booking made using split payment is still within the 24-hour provisional window:
- The booking may be cancelled at any time by the party who initiated payment.
- All amounts paid by all parties will be refunded within 7 days.
- No cancellation fee applies, as the booking was not fully confirmed.
Split-Payment Refund Allocation
If a confirmed booking made using split payment is cancelled:
- Cancellation charges (50 percent or 100 percent) will be applied proportionately to each party’s payment share.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be issued individually to each party based on their original payment method.
- Accordhub will not intervene or mediate in payment distribution between parties.
Add-On Services
Add-on services (printing, refreshments, transcription, stationery, and similar services) are governed by the Payment Policy.
If add-ons have already been delivered or consumed before cancellation:
- Charges for delivered add-ons are non-refundable.
- Pre-booked add-ons for future sessions will be refunded in accordance with their individual rules.
Refund Timelines
Where applicable, all refunds will be processed within 7 business days from the date the cancellation is approved.
Actual posting timelines may vary depending on payment gateway or bank processing times.
Non-Refundable Scenarios
No refunds will be issued in the following cases:
- Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled hearing
- No-shows
- Misuse of premises or violation of Accordhub policies resulting in forced cancellation
- Add-ons already delivered or utilized
Force Majeure
In case of events beyond Accordhub’s control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, emergencies, internet outages, or other force majeure events:
- Refunds or rescheduling options will be offered on a best-effort basis.
- Final decisions will be made at Accordhub’s discretion.
Amendments
Accordhub may amend this Policy at any time. Updated versions will carry a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
